Law enforcement operations in the Patagonia region have targeted various illegal activities, including wildlife trafficking and the concealment of stolen goods.

In October, a rural raid near Zapala led to the seizure of 17 firearms, over 5,000 pieces of ammunition, and 40 wildlife trophies, such as red deer antlers and wild boar heads, which lacked legal documentation. This investigation focuses on potential violations of provincial wildlife laws and illegal firearm possession.

In November, security forces expanded operations through eight simultaneous raids in the provinces of Santa Cruz and Chubut. These actions, part of a judicial investigation into concealment, resulted in the seizure of a .22 caliber carbine in Caleta Olivia, as well as more than one ton of high-tension copper scraps and industrial equipment in Comodoro Rivadavia.
