The project, funded by the provincial government, is expected to cost over $10 billion and will involve restoring the main building, improving stage technology, and enhancing accessibility. Additionally, the ‘Escuelas en Obra’ program is facilitating renovations at local kindergartens to upgrade electrical, sanitary, and water systems. In Bahía Blanca, Mayor Federico Susbielles announced a reconstruction plan for the Teatro Municipal following flood damage sustained in March 2025. The city aims to reopen the landmark by April 2028.
