Daniel Alfredo Neira, a former official at the National Communications Entity (Enacom), received a severance payment of approximately 110 million pesos upon his departure on July 31. The following day, August 1, he began a new role as Accounting Manager at the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA) under a 180-day transitory designation.

Records show that administrative processes for Neira’s position at INTA began on July 1, prior to his official departure from Enacom. While INTA’s legal counsel stated that his dismissal from Enacom does not legally prevent his reintegration into the public sector, the rapid transition has caused internal friction.

Although the Board of Directors was aware of Neira’s professional background, they noted they were not informed of the specific financial terms of his dismissal. The appointment was formalized via Resolution 296/2026 on September 3, filling a vacancy without a competitive exam due to urgent staffing needs. The Board is expected to review the continuity of his contract within 30 days.
