Tristán Suárez entered a critical phase of the Primera Nacional season as the leader of Zona B. During this period, the club was preparing for key fixtures, including a match against Patronato, while having already secured qualification for the Copa Argentina.

By late October, Tristán Suárez successfully clinched the top position in Zona B following a 0-0 draw against Deportivo Maipú, finishing the season with 64 points. This result secured their place in a single-match final against Godoy Cruz, the winner of Zona A, to determine the first promotion to the 2027 Liga Profesional.

Godoy Cruz secured its position in Zona A after a 2-1 victory against Almirante Brown. A late goal by Diego Viera allowed the Mendoza-based club to finish at the top of the group with 66 points, surpassing Ferro on goal difference. Atlanta also finished the season in second place in Zona B after a 0-0 draw against Midland.

As of late October, both clubs have officially qualified for the final match to determine the first promotion to the Argentine Primera División. While the final is scheduled for November 14, the Argentine Football Association has yet to announce the official time and neutral venue for the championship match.

By October 30, Godoy Cruz has secured its place to advance to the promotion final against Tristán Suárez following a late victory.
