Argentine penitentiary services have implemented various community engagement and vocational programs involving local schools.

In San Juan, the Provincial Penitentiary Service Music Band began performing at educational institutions, such as the Juan José Paso School, to build community connections and strengthen institutional identity. 

In Buenos Aires, inmates are participating in vocational training to provide goods to schools. Through the ECOS Program, inmates at the Unidad 18 Gorina prison manufactured percussion instrument kits from recycled materials for schools in Quilmes and La Matanza. Additionally, in the Dolores district, inmates at Unidad 6 have been restoring school furniture in collaboration with the Dolores School Council to facilitate social and labor reintegration.
