Texas A&M secured its 800th program victory with a 34-7 win over Arkansas at Kyle Field on October 3. The victory marks the Aggies’ first Southeastern Conference (SEC) win of the season, snapping a two-game losing streak and improving their record to 3-2.

The Aggies' offense was powered by a dominant ground game that accumulated 231 rushing yards on 49 attempts. Freshman running backs KJ Edwards and Carsyn Baker led the surge; Edwards scored two rushing touchdowns, while Baker added one. Quarterback Marcel Reed contributed 170 passing yards and a rushing touchdown. Kicker David Olano contributed two field goals of 50 yards or more, including a career-long 57-yard kick.

Defensively, Texas A&M limited Arkansas to 209 total yards and only 111 passing yards. The Aggie defense held the Razorbacks to 103 rushing yards and limited them to 3-of-10 on third-down conversions. Senior safety Dalton Brooks recorded an interception that set up an early touchdown.
