The Arkansas Razorbacks football team began the 2026 season with junior KJ Jackson named as the starting quarterback following a training camp competition with sophomore AJ Hill. Jackson, noted for his ability to make decisions in live game situations despite some accuracy concerns, was set to lead the team in the season opener.

Following a 31-14 victory over North Alabama, head coach Ryan Silverfield released the Week 3 depth chart, which maintained Jackson as the starter over Hill. Despite the win, analysts have characterized the team’s offense as stagnant as they prepare for upcoming matchups against the Georgia Bulldogs and the Utah Utes.
