Belgian goalkeeper Arnaud Bodart moved from LOSC Lille to Le Havre AC following a serious Achilles tendon injury to Le Havre’s primary goalkeeper, Lionel Mpasi.

Initially, reports indicated that Bodart was nearing a transfer to Le Havre as a ‘medical joker’ to secure more regular playing time in Ligue 1. The move was contingent upon a successful medical examination. 

By September 16, the transfer was finalized. Bodart joined Le Havre on a one-year deal as a free transfer after his contract with Lille was terminated. He is expected to compete with Gauthier Gallon for the starting position.
