Mexican federal authorities, including the Navy (Semar), the Attorney General's Office (FGR), and the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), conducted a coordinated operation in Zapopan, Jalisco, to arrest Ángel Guerrero Carrillo, also known as ‘Canguro’. 

Based on intelligence shared between Mexican and United States agencies, the suspect is identified as a logistics operator for the Chapo Isidro faction of the Beltrán Leyva Cartel.
