On September 7, 2026, an attempted arson occurred at the ‘Da Ale’ restaurant in Artena, Italy. An unknown individual poured flammable liquid on the establishment’s metal shutter and set it on fire around 3:00 AM. The fire caused minimal damage, affecting a planter and the shutter, but did not spread into the building.

The restaurant is owned by Alessandro Bianchi, whose brothers, Marco and Gabriele Bianchi, are serving life sentences for the 2020 killing of Willy Monteiro Duarte. The incident took place on the sixth anniversary of the Duarte homicide. While initial reports noted that authorities found no immediate evidence linking the arson to the anniversary, subsequent investigations by the Prosecutor's Office and Carabinieri are examining whether the attack is connected to the family's history regarding the previous murder.
