Art exhibitions in Spain have recently focused on both contemporary and historical works. In late September, new oil painting exhibitions opened featuring Guillermo Bujedo, who presents landscapes inspired by music and literature, and Aby Sánchez, whose collection ‘Algo de mí’ includes portraits of musicians and contemporary still lifes.

Following these contemporary shows, new exhibitions are scheduled to honor historical painters. In Vilafranca del Penedès, projects dedicated to Pau Boada will commence in early October to commemorate the 50th anniversary of his death. Additionally, the Museu de Santa Clara in Gandia will host an exhibition regarding the Franciscan cycle created by José Benlliure, coinciding with the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi.
