Influencer Ary Mirelle and singer João Gomes have faced a transition from personal family activities to public controversy. While the couple was initially noted for a family vacation in Orlando, Florida, coinciding with Gomes’s “Dominguinho” tour, the situation shifted toward defending the singer against political criticism.

Mirelle addressed social media backlash regarding Gomes’s perceived lack of political positioning during the 2026 presidential election cycle. She defended his silence by stating that he is managing depression and requires medication to work, citing “extreme cancellation” following previous political involvement as a cause for his emotional state. Additionally, Mirelle reported that the family has been receiving daily threats directed at their two infants.
