AS Roma has maintained a competitive presence in Serie A under manager Gian Piero Gasperini. Following a comeback draw against Napoli, which Gasperini described as a “missed opportunity” despite high team morale, the club extended its unbeaten streak to nine matches with a 4-2 victory over Cagliari.

In the win against Cagliari, Roma overcame an early penalty to secure the result with late goals from Rodrigo Mora and Donyell Malen. Following the match, Gasperini expressed satisfaction with the team’s character despite facing midfield fatigue and the absence of key players Paulo Dybala and Koné.

The manager specifically praised the contributions of academy players Luli and Pizili, who scored the first two goals, noting the “great coordination” and deep connection to the club shown by the youth talent. He also commended goalkeeper Gollini for his performance after stepping in for the injured starter Svilar. This victory has kept the team in third place in the standings, trailing Lazio and Inter.
