Contestants Kiara Lord and Dávid Petra have characterized their approach on the reality show Asia Express as highly tactical, noting they frequently manipulated situations to ensure their safety and influence contestant eliminations. During a press conference, the pair faced scrutiny for comments regarding chef Frigyes Vomberg, though Vomberg indicated he was not offended by the remarks.

Interpersonal conflicts intensified as András Kabai criticized the conduct of Petra Dávid and Kiara Lord. Kabai, who is Dávid’s former husband, described their behavior as immature and attention-seeking, comparing the competition environment to an elementary school.
