A group of youths attacked a Farmatodo employee at a branch in Las Mercedes, Caracas, as part of a viral TikTok challenge. During a live stream, the perpetrators threw a mixture of urine, eggs, oil, flour, degreaser, and toilet water over the worker.

One participant, identified by the username ‘Xavier’, released a video expressing regret, stating he committed the error for money and apologizing to the victim and the country. 

Farmatodo condemned the assault on the dignity and health of its staff and announced it is pursuing legal action. The company has provided authorities with documentation and identification of those involved to facilitate investigations. Darwin González, the Mayor of Baruta, also issued a statement condemning the acts of violence and vandalism.
