Rev. Stephen Yenusom Wengam, General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Ghana, conducted an apostolic visit to the Brong Ahafo Region. During this visit, he led prayer sessions, oversaw the renewal of wedding vows, and inspected progress on a regional office building project.

Following this visit, during the church’s 32nd Biennial General Council Meeting in Gomoa Fetteh, Rev. Wengam was re-elected to a new four-year term as General Superintendent. He secured approximately 89 per cent of the valid votes, defeating Rev. Dr. Kwame B. Bansah. Other leadership roles, including Assistant General Superintendent and General Secretary, were also filled during the council meeting.
