The ASTRA Museum has initiated the “Soarele din farfurie” (Sun in a Plate) exhibition circuit to showcase the lifecycle of traditional Horezu pottery. This project, supported by field research in villages such as Horezu, Olari, and Râmești, features pottery houses in Horezu and Găleșoaia where visitors can observe traditional motifs and the complete production process from clay extraction to firing.

The initiative has expanded to international promotion at the 31st International Cultural Heritage Salon at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. During this event, master potters Ionuț Bîscu and Sebastian Bîscu perform live demonstrations of traditional techniques. This international presence is complemented by a conference and exhibition at the Romanian Cultural Institute in Paris focusing on the transition of Horezu ceramics from utilitarian objects to aesthetic heritage.
