Atletica Vicentina has achieved significant success in Italian youth athletics competitions. In late September, the club secured a double championship at the national A ‘Oro’ club championships for under-18 athletes in Majano, winning both the men’s and women’s categories. Individual highlights included Cristian Cecchetto winning the 5 km race walk and Kalidjatou Bance winning both the 400m hurdles and the 400m sprint.

In October, the club continued its success at the Italian youth multi-event championships in Casalmaggiore, where Atletica Vicentina secured the men’s under-18 club title, or ‘scudetto’, for the second consecutive year. During this period, Cristian Cecchetto also won the Italian under-18 title in the 10km race walk in Imola, marking his second Italian title of the season.
