Atlético Madrid has identified several midfield targets for potential future transfers. The club initiated contact with representatives of Almería midfielder Stefan Džodić, a 21-year-old Serbian international. Although Džodić has a contract extension through 2032 with a 40 million euro release clause, Atlético may attempt to negotiate a lower fee.

Additionally, the club has expressed interest in 22-year-old Kosovar midfielder Leon Avdullahu, who currently plays for TSG Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga. While Hoffenheim previously rejected an attempt to sign him, reports suggest a transfer could be possible next year. Hoffenheim reportedly values Avdullahu at approximately 50 million euros.
