A series of ATM explosions targeting cash reserves has occurred in Greece. On August 31, unknown perpetrators detonated an ATM in Perachora, Corinthia, around 5:00 AM, escaping with approximately 91,000 euros after causing extensive damage to the machine and surrounding area.

On September 5, a similar incident took place in Stoupa, Messinia. Perpetrators detonated an ATM located outside a supermarket on the Kalamata–Areopoli National Road shortly before 4:00 AM, stealing approximately 200,000 euros. While the blast caused significant damage to the machine and a supermarket facade, no injuries were reported. 

In both instances, local criminal investigation departments have launched investigations and manhunts, utilizing security footage to track the suspects.
