Novak Djokovic has dropped out of the ATP Top 10 for the first time since July 2018. Following a first-round exit at the US Open against Mariano Navone, the Serbian player fell seven positions to world number 12.

This ranking shift marks the conclusion of the ‘Big Three’ era in tennis, as it is the first time since October 2002 that none of the trio—Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic—have appeared in the ATP top 10. With Federer and Nadal already retired, Djokovic was the final active member of the group to exit the top tier, ending a 24-year period where at least one member of the trio remained in the top 10.

In the men's rankings, Jannik Sinner remains number one, though his lead has narrowed. Alexander Zverev moved into second place after winning the US Open title by defeating Ben Shelton in the final. Carlos Alcaraz holds the third position, while Ben Shelton reached a career-high ranking of number four.

On the women's side, Elena Rybakina ascended to the top of the rankings after winning the US Open final against Aryna Sabalenka.
