In Agropoli, Italy, an 18-year-old man was arrested for the attempted murder of a peer following a dispute. The suspect allegedly stabbed the victim in the chest before fleeing. The victim was transferred to Cardarelli Hospital in Naples, where they remained in critical condition. 

Carabinieri officers located the suspect at his residence and recovered the weapon, which the attacker had attempted to hide on a building roof. A judge at the Court of Vallo della Lucania subsequently granted the request for pretrial detention.
