Recent developments regarding Audi’s high-performance Avant models include both electric prototype testing and aftermarket tuning. 

A camouflaged prototype of the Audi S6 Avant e-tron Performance was observed testing at the Nürburgring. This model, built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, features an aggressive body kit with redesigned air intakes, a front splitter, a rear roof spoiler, and a larger diffuser. The testing follows reports that some high-performance electric wagon projects had been previously sidelined.

Separately, the tuner MTM has modified an Audi RS 6 Avant to reach a power output of 1,001 metric horsepower. This significantly exceeds the standard 4.0-liter V8 biturbo model’s 630 hp. The modified vehicle also includes a wide-body aesthetic with new components for the front, sides, and rear.
