The Ponto de Cultura Beabá Audiovisual project is launching its fourth edition in Governador Valadares, Minas Gerais. Funded by the Política Nacional Aldir Blanc (PNAB) and organized by Núcleo Cidade Futuro, the initiative provides free audiovisual training to high school students starting September 14.

The program focuses on three core areas: Social History and Memory to explore local identity, New Technologies and Mobile Editing involving smartphone and AI tools, and Language, Production, and Field Experience for hands-on practice with professional equipment. Since 2008, the project has trained approximately 245 young people, aiming to promote digital media literacy and social inclusion through affirmative action.
