In late October 2026, two major Austrian agricultural organizations held anniversary celebrations.

Bäuerinnen Niederösterreich, an organization representing women in agriculture and rural areas, marked 50 years of advocacy with a ceremony at the Lower Austria Chamber of Agriculture. The group currently comprises approximately 42,000 members across 350 associations.

Almwirtschaft Österreich celebrated its 75th anniversary in Innsbruck. The event, attended by political, scientific, and agricultural representatives, included remarks on the history of alpine farming and the ongoing challenges posed by structural changes and evolving framework conditions in the sector.
