Austrian climber Jakob Schubert recently secured third place in the lead climbing event at the Climbing World Cup in Prague. This podium finish followed an injury hiatus and a difficult competition in Seoul. 

Schubert is now part of a 22-member Austrian Climbing Federation squad competing at the European Climbing Championships in Laval, France. Alongside Jessica Pilz, Schubert aims to secure his first European title in the Lead discipline during what is intended to be his final competition of the season. The Austrian team is also competing in Speed and Para-climbing events.
