Statistics indicate a sharp rise in violence against law enforcement in Burgenland, where attacks surged by over 2,300 percent between 2023 and 2024, resulting in 24 injuries to officers, including five serious cases. This occurs even as nationwide violence against police has decreased by approximately 5.7 percent.
