Various Austrian tourism organizations are undergoing leadership transitions. 

In Tyrol, Klaus Gleirscher has been appointed as the managing director of TVB Stubai Tirol, effective September 1, 2026, succeeding Roland Volderauer. Additionally, Barbara Plattner, currently the Managing Director of Innsbruck Tourismus, has been named the new Managing Director of Tirol Werbung, effective June 2027. Plattner succeeds Karin Seiler and will focus on digitalization and year-round tourism development.

In Salzburg, the Salzburger Land Tourismusgesellschaft (SLT) has initiated a search for a new managing director following the announcement that Leo Bauernberger will step down. The selection process has drawn over 50 applicants.
