Automotive manufacturers are introducing new electric, hybrid, and updated internal combustion models across Asian markets.

In Vietnam, MG Motor debuted the MG IM8, a large EREV SUV with a driving range of up to 1,605 km under the CLTC cycle. Simultaneously, Lexus introduced the LX 700h, its first hybrid-powered flagship SUV in the country. 

Updates to the MG ZS compact SUV are also expanding through the region. In Vietnam, testing has been observed for a 2026 model likely featuring a 1.5L hybrid powertrain and advanced driver assistance systems. In Taiwan, the 2027 model year update for the MG ZS focuses on safety and comfort, incorporating the MG Pilot 2.0 Level 2 intelligent driving assistance system and ventilated front seats.
