In the Roaring Fork Valley and Western Slope, celebrations include Aspen’s Mactoberfest, the Paonia Mountain Harvest Festival, and Snowmass Oktoberfest, which feature arts, music, and food competitions.

In Northern Colorado, seasonal engagement focuses on local tourism and agricultural activities, such as visiting pumpkin patches at locations like The Bartels Farm, Fritzler Farm Park, and Osbourn Farm.

As October progresses, seasonal programming has expanded into the Colorado Springs and Denver areas. In Colorado Springs, local engagement includes the Old Colorado City Farmers Market at Bancroft Park, the Altitude Makers + Farmers Market in Manitou Springs, and the Southeast Farmers Market. Cultural offerings in the region include an exhibit on Colorado’s legacy at the Fine Arts Center, the 2026 Pikes Peak Zine Fest at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, and a First Amendment rights exhibition at the Manitou Springs Heritage Museum.

In the Denver area, fall attractions remain active, including the Pumpkin Festival at Chatfield Farms in Littleton, the Denver Zoo’s ‘Boo at the Zoo’ event, and ‘Ghosts in the Gardens’ sessions running through the end of the month.
