Reports indicate potential delays regarding the filming schedule for Marvel Studios’ ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’. Initial reports suggested production might be pushed to January 2027, raising concerns that a seven to eight month post-production window could delay the film’s theatrical release into 2028.

Subsequent reports suggest the delay could extend further, with filming potentially postponed until the first half of 2027, possibly as early as February. While directors Anthony and Joe Russo have reportedly begun ‘soft prepping’ the project, Marvel Studios has not officially confirmed any changes to the scheduled December 17, 2027, release date.
