Azerbaijani judokas are participating in a series of international qualifying tournaments for the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Olympic Games.

In late August 2026, 14 Azerbaijani athletes across nine weight categories were assigned opponents for the Lausanne Grand Prix in Switzerland. Following this, a delegation of 16 judokas, comprising 12 men and 4 women, prepared to compete in the Budapest Grand Slam in Hungary in mid-September 2026.
