In the Dominican Republic, vocational training and youth development initiatives have been highlighted through both private and public sector actions. 

Claro Dominicana completed its ‘Ser Claro’ internship program, which provided 82 participants—ranging from high school to university students—with practical experience in 14 organizational areas, including training in cybersecurity and customer experience. 

Additionally, the Dominican Ministry of Tourism, supported by the Inter-American Development Bank, delivered five million pesos worth of technological and audiovisual equipment to three technical training centers in Ciudad Colonial. This effort is part of a larger 90-million-dollar program intended to bolster urban and tourism development in the historic district.
