Bam Adebayo has addressed his ongoing relationship with LaMelo Ball following a physical encounter during an April 14 play-in game. That incident resulted in Ball receiving a flagrant-2 foul for contact described by the NBA as “unnecessary and reckless,” as well as significant fines for the foul and post-game profanity.

Adebayo stated ahead of a preseason matchup that while he does not harbor hate, he does not intend to forget the incident. Later, Adebayo sparked further discussion regarding Ball by naming him, alongside Anthony Edwards, as a preferred NBA duo due to their potential entertainment value, despite skepticism from analysts regarding their chemistry and leadership.
