Following the 13th national parliamentary elections, Prime Minister Tariq Rahman has undertaken several official travels. 

In late June, the Prime Minister conducted his first official visit to China to meet with high-level leadership, including President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang. The trip focused on deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership, discussing the Belt-and-Road Initiative, and participating in the Summer Davos Forum.

In August, the Prime Minister conducted domestic visits to Chittagong and Cox's Bazar. This itinerary included inspecting deep sea port and coal power projects in Matarbari, attending programs for flood rehabilitation, and visiting religious sites and local leaders.
