Following her return to the Victoria’s Secret runway six weeks after giving birth to her daughter, Sylvie, model Barbara Palvin has shared insights into her postpartum journey. Palvin highlighted the practicalities of motherhood during the fashion show, noting that the design team assisted by sewing nursing pads into her bra and sharing behind-the-scenes images of her using a breast pump to illustrate the “reality behind all the glam.” Palvin used her platform to advocate for improved maternal support and policy changes, specifically criticizing the expectation in the United States for women to return to work shortly after childbirth without adequate paid maternity leave. In response to social media discussions regarding her rapid return to modeling, Palvin emphasized the importance of a support system, crediting her family, friends, and the Victoria’s Secret team for their assistance. She also acknowledged the privilege her professional circumstances afford her, noting that her ability to control her return to work is not a reality for many other mothers. Her husband, actor Dylan Sprouse, was present at the Los Angeles show to support her. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-23: Barbara Palvin returns to Victoria’s Secret runway six weeks after childbirth Model Barbara Palvin returned to the Victoria’s Secret runway six weeks after giving birth, sparking discussions on postpartum reality and the privileges of professional support. 11 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/barbara-palvin-discusses-postpartum-reality-after-victorias-secret-return ### 2026-10-21: Barbara Palvin discusses postpartum reality after Victoria’s Secret runway return Six weeks after giving birth, model Barbara Palvin returned to the Victoria’s Secret runway, using the moment to advocate for better maternity support and share the unglamorous realities of postpartum life. 11 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/barbara-palvin-returns-to-victorias-secret-runway-postpartum --- Cite as: Barbara Palvin postpartum experience and advocacy.
