Bariloche, Argentina, is positioning itself as a hub for international activities through major sporting events and media productions. In November 2026, the region is scheduled to host the Patagonia Bariloche by UTMB ultra-trail race, attracting thousands of runners, followed by the 37th edition of the 1000 Millas Sport classic car rally.

In tandem with these events, the city is implementing marketing strategies to attract tourists from Brazil, Europe, and the United States by promoting year-round activities such as hiking and gastronomy. Additionally, Bariloche is serving as a filming location for the Netflix miniseries ‘Gordon’, which recreates a 1970s aesthetic and is slated for release in mid-November.
