The Basket Club Bolzano (BCB) women’s team is preparing for the 2026/27 Serie A2 season following a third-place championship finish. Local officials in Bolzano recently met with the club to discuss its recent successes and promote the importance of women’s sports for community growth.

As part of the pre-season activities, the club is hosting the 20th edition of the Paola Mazzali Memorial tournament on September 26-27 at the PalaMazzali. The event honors the memory of the former BCB captain, whose jersey number was retired in 2006. This year’s tournament features Alperia Basket Club Bolzano alongside Sanga Milano, Polisportiva Galli, and Nuova Pallacanestro Treviso, serving as a technical test for the host team.
