Following a difficult start to the EuroLeague season with a record of one win and eight losses, Baskonia is reportedly seeking to bolster its roster. The club is in negotiations with Lleida to acquire 22-year-old center Zakary Perin, who has averaged 12.5 points and 6.7 rebounds per game in the ACB league.

Baskonia is reportedly prepared to spend approximately 1.1 million euros on two acquisitions to provide depth and offensive versatility. In addition to the potential move for Perin, which could cost around 500,000 euros to secure immediately rather than waiting for a January release clause, the club is also targeting Ignas Brazdeikis from Unicaja. The signing of Brazdeikis is valued at approximately 600,000 euros.
