Red flag warnings, prohibiting swimming due to safety risks, have been issued for several beaches along the Costa Daurada in the Tarragona region. 

Initially, restrictions were concentrated in the municipalities of Cunit and Calafell, affecting beaches such as L'Estany - Mas Mel, Segur, Calafell, Llevant, and Ponent, as well as Tamarit beach. 

Following recent heavy rainfall, Protecció Civil maintained red flag warnings for five beaches due to poor sea conditions. The affected areas included La Móra, Tamarit, and Cala Jovera in Tarragona, along with Calafell and La Riera in Cambrils. These warnings indicate high risks from factors such as dangerous waves, strong currents, or agitated sea states.
