Actor Ben Affleck has addressed long-standing rumors and production anecdotes regarding the 2014 film ‘Gone Girl’. In recent interviews, Affleck clarified that he did not use a prosthetic for the film’s nude shower scene, noting that his only experience with a prosthesis was a nose for the film ‘Hollywoodland’.

Affleck also addressed a story involving director David Fincher and a New York Yankees hat. While Fincher had previously suggested that Affleck’s refusal to wear the cap caused a production shutdown, Affleck characterized the incident as a joke. He stated that the disagreement over the hat, which he believed would be a distraction to the audience, lasted approximately 20 minutes rather than several days. Affleck expressed deep respect for Fincher, describing the opportunity to work with him as ‘the great privilege of my life’.
