The Diablos Rojos del México have appointed Benjamín Gil as their manager for the upcoming seasons, succeeding Lorenzo Bundy, who will transition into a sporting management advisory role.

Gil, a former Major League Baseball player, signed a contract for the next two seasons. During his presentation, Gil expressed a commitment to winning championships and praised the organization’s facilities and staff. He also issued a public apology to the fanbase for previous controversial comments regarding the team and its supporters.

Team management, including Vice President Santiago Harp, indicated that Gil had been a target for the organization for several years. The appointment is viewed as a strategic move to improve performance following a season that failed to meet sporting expectations.
