Sources: 6. Developments: 2. Chilean driver Benjamín Hites, racing for the Black Falcon Team, progressed from a single race victory to winning the GT3 Cup 2 championship in the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS). In September, Hites secured his second consecutive victory of the season in the GT3 Cup 2 category during the eighth round of the NLS Endurance Championship. Driving a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup alongside teammates Alexander Hardt and Benjamin Koslowski, the team finished the four-hour race with a 30-second lead, placing them within 1.5 points of the championship leaders. By October, Hites secured the GT3 Cup 2 championship of the Porsche Endurance Trophy. The title was decided following a dramatic conclusion to a four-hour endurance race where the initially first-place Porsche #904, driven by Nico Bastián and Tim Scheerbarth, received a one-minute penalty for overtaking under a yellow flag. Despite an appeal, the stewards upheld the sanction, awarding the victory and the championship to the #900 Black Falcon car piloted by Hites, Hardt, and Koslowski. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-10: Benjamín Hites wins GT3 Cup 2 title at Nürburgring Chilean driver Benjamín Hites won the GT3 Cup 2 championship at the Nürburgring Endurance Series after a penalty for a rival team secured the victory for Black Falcon. 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/benjamn-hites-wins-gt3-cup-2-title-at-nrburgring ### 2026-09-12: Benjamín Hites wins GT3 Cup 2 race at Nürburgring Chilean driver Benjamín Hites won the GT3 Cup 2 category at the Nürburgring NLS Endurance Championship, moving within 1.5 points of the series lead. 4 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/benjamn-hites-wins-gt3-cup-2-race-at-nrburgring --- Cite as: Benjamín Hites GT3 Cup 2 championship campaign.
