Bernard Nguene, a 20-year-old Cameroonian striker playing for Standard de Liège, has expressed his ambition to join the Cameroon national team, the Lions Indomptables. Having previously played for Cameroon’s youth categories, Nguene aims to establish himself in Belgium to earn a senior call-up.

Following his development at the club, Standard de Liège officially extended Nguene’s contract until June 30, 2029, with an option for an additional season.
