The Biela noc festival, Slovakia’s largest contemporary art festival, is scheduled to return to Bratislava and Košice in October. In Bratislava, the event is set to run from October 2 to 4, followed by installations in Košice from October 9 to 11.

The festival features artists from more than 13 countries, including the United Kingdom, Japan, France, Canada, and Switzerland. Planned highlights include a drone light performance by the Slovak studio LUMI SWAY over the Danube and a light signal broadcast from the Kamzík television tower. Other scheduled works include the world premiere of ‘Strata’ by British studio Rebel Overlay, an immersive installation by Japanese artist Yasuhiro Chidu, and interactive pieces by Swiss artist Cyril Gfeller. While much of the festival takes place in public spaces, certain exclusive zones will require a paid pass.
