Globo has announced details for the 27th season of Big Brother Brasil (BBB 27), which is scheduled to premiere on January 11, 2027, for a 100-day competition. The season will feature a mix of veteran participants, ‘Camarote’ guests, and ‘Pipoca’ contestants.

New format elements include the return of ‘Glass Houses’ (Casas de Vidro) from January 8 to 10, where candidates will compete for special powers. The Sunday schedule will be split into afternoon and evening segments to manage the ‘Paredão’ formation. Furthermore, Tuesday eliminations will now include a live interview on TV Globo featuring a studio audience.

To expand its digital and physical footprint, Globo is launching a vertical reality show for content creators in 2026, with the winner joining the official squad. The franchise also plans to enter the Roblox platform with a virtual environment and will move the ‘BBB Experience’ immersive event from São Paulo to Rio de Janeiro.
