Željeznice Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine announced the resumption of regular local passenger train services on the Bihać – Bosanska Otoka – Bihać route. This marks the first time the line has operated since 2013.

Starting August 31, the service will run on weekdays with morning and afternoon departures designed to accommodate students, workers, and commuters. The revitalization of the Una railway line was supported by 250,000 KM in co-financing from the Ministry of Economy of the Una-Sana Canton to improve regional mobility and economic potential.
