The Bihar government informed the Supreme Court that a police constable fired four rounds from an AK-47 into the air after becoming trapped in a crowd, though the state maintained that no protesters were injured. The constable has since been suspended. The demonstrations are part of a broader movement involving the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) demanding reforms and the resignation of the Union education minister following the NEET paper leak controversy.
