Artistic initiatives in Ciudad Juárez are utilizing creative expression to explore identity and the political boundaries between Mexico and the United States. The exhibition ‘El corrido también es parte del paisaje’ at the Museo de Arte de Ciudad Juárez uses the ‘corrido’ musical tradition to examine migration and cross-border relations.

This exhibition, which features works including sculptures, paintings, and object art, is part of broader binational efforts. These include the Bienal Fronteriza 2026, themed ‘Imaginar la frontera’, a joint hosting by the Museo de Arte de Ciudad Juárez and the El Paso Museum of Art, and the SUTURA binational art encounter scheduled for November 2026.
