The BIOAGRI 2026 summit opened on October 7 at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, India. Organized by the BioAgri Input Producers Association (BIPA), the two-day event is centered on the theme ‘Biological Intelligence & Smart Agriculture’. 

Inaugurating the summit, Dr. J. P. Singh, former Plant Protection Advisor to the Government of India, stated that biological agriculture is moving from a niche segment to a “vital pillar of sustainable farming.” He highlighted the necessity of integrating biological solutions and scientific research with smart technologies to build a resilient agricultural system.

The event includes roughly 400 delegates, including scientists and policymakers, and features an exhibition of over 60 exhibitors showcasing biopesticides, biofertilizers, biostimulants, and digital technology platforms.
